What the students of Validation say
We have had group two weeks and will meet again tomorrow. I feel like I did when I first validated…like learning to ride a bike.
The best part about last week was seeing how they all remembered in some way that they had been there before. The song leader who folded her arms week one and said “I can’t sing” did sing! One of my co leaders spent time with her regularly working on the songs during the week. The chairwoman seemed to be fitting her role better. I know in class we learned to keep them in their role for at least 4 weeks. Our topic time is rather brief but I know that will improve.
When the residents were leaving the room, two of them began speaking to each other in Czech and were laughing…One is not very verbal. This is great.
I found it so rewarding to see how the group did even when I walked in prior and thought “how can I do this NOW…” Center! I have so much to learn! – Sue
